Call for Proposals: DIWAN6: A Forum for the Arts Overview The sixth biennial convening of DIWAN: A Forum for the Arts will be held at the Arab American National Museum (AANM), on May 7-9, 2015, in Dearborn, Michigan. The conference will coincide with the launch of the Museum’s 10th anniversary programming year, as well as the Museum’s new visual arts exhibition, Ten. Sad to report that poet Hayan Charara has had to cancel his 2011 DIWAN appearance due to personal reasons. Remi Kanazi has graciously agreed to step into Hayan’s slot for the 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 25 session WE ARE THE EARTH: HOME, HOMELESSNESS AND TERRAIN, A READING, in the Recital Hall at The Graduate Center, CUNY.
